Boeing’s Target: Produce More than 900 Aircraft Annually by 2020

Boeing Co. CEO Dennis Muilenburg told CNBC that the aircraft maker wants to build more than 900 planes a year by the end of the decade. In 2017, Boeing delivered 763 commercial aircraft, or one about every 11.5 hours. “We see air traffic growing and passenger traffic growing at about 6% to 7% a year, and that’s feeding airplane growth throughout the world,” Muilenburg told CNBC.
