Wentao Fu is the senior manager at Boeing Additive Manufacturing (BAM) Intelligence Center. He works with internal and external partners to apply digital thread, model-based engineering and data analytics to the qualification and certification of additive manufacturing for aerospace applications. He also manages the BAM External Relations portfolio, which covers public engagement, industry partnership and business development for BAM. He develops AM external engagement strategies and opportunities that add value to the business and customers.
Wentao has over 10 years of experience in additive manufacturing and digital manufacturing. Prior to joining Boeing, he worked at Siemens Energy and Caterpillar. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and anticipates an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
