Tracy is currently the Senior Director for Production and Industrial Engineering in Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where she is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Equipment & Tooling Engineering, NC Programming, and Liaison Engineering functions. Together, they make up the largest engineering group within BCA Engineering. She has held this role since March 2022. Previously, Tracy held executive positions as the Senior Director for Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Production Engineering, the 747/767 Production Engineering Director, and the BCA Liaison Engineering Chief Engineer.
Tracy first joined Boeing as a summer intern in 1994. She is a graduate of the University of Washington, earning her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. As an engineer, she held numerous engineering positions in Liaison Engineering and Structures Engineering. In 2003, she also completed a Master of Engineering Management degree from Washington State University. In 2007, Tracy transitioned into engineering management holding multiple leadership positions across the 777 and 787 programs.
Tracy is an active advocate for women in engineering. She maintains a strong relationship with the University of Washington, including supporting the UW Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program by serving on their professional advisory board. In addition, she serves on the UW Mechanical Engineering department external advisory board, the UW Industrial & Systems Engineering external advisory board, and the Diamond Award selection committee. She also serves as the Boeing executive focal for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
