As the second generation in the family-owned business founded by his father Shai Fine in 1986, Shachar Fine has been part of Kanfit’s top management team since 2011.
He is responsible for driving the company’s marketing efforts, identifying and developing new business opportunities both in Israel and internationally.
In 2019, when Israeli defense contractor Rafael Advanced Defense Systems acquired a 50 percent stake in Kanfit, Shachar became a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
In his role as EVP of business development, marketing and sales, Shachar has been playing a major role in the company’s transition from a domestic into an export company, driving direct export to such markets as North America, Europe, and the Far Fast.
Having worked in the hi-tech industry prior to joining Kanfit, Shachar constantly works to incorporate new IT technologies enterprise-wide to improve Kanfit efficiency and performance.
Prior to serving as EVP, Shachar worked in various positions within Kanfit. He was a project manager, purchasing manager, inspector, production worker and worked in other roles, gaining experience in operations and other management functions.
Shachar holds a B.Sc. in computer engineering and an MBA from the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology.
