Dr. Robert Hart is the Technical Specialist in Composite Materials within Ground Vehicle Materials Engineering at the U.S. Army Combat Capability Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center. Robert has more than 15 years of research experience in the field of structural composite materials. His research focuses on design, modeling & simulation, and manufacturing of lightweight composite structures, and he has over 30 publications in this area. He earned a PhD in mechanical engineering from The University of Iowa with a focus on modeling and simulation of structural composite materials in mechanical systems design.
