Robert Folts has over 40 years of experience in the Aerospace, Defense, Federal and Marine industries as a Business Owner, providing Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT solutions. Throughout his career, Robert has developed Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT solutions by leveraging innovative technology, people and processes that enabled maximum customer value. His company, Manufacturing & Industrial Technologies (MIT) Inc, developed partnerships across the globe to complement their offerings in the industry. MIT managed program deployments at client sites, provided industry technical solutions in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and maintained a division of niche industry consultants executing innovative solutions.
Robert is a graduate of Edison Tech, holds a US Patient for Hollow Core Molding, and is a member of NCMS, SME, and SAE. He also sits on the Board for Professional Development at SAE.
Robert joined the Siemens Digital Factory Division, a business unit of Siemens PLM Software, in February 2019. As a Portfolio Business Development Executive, he is responsible for growing & implementing Digital Manufacturing software in the Aerospace, Defense, Federal, and Marine (ADFM) sectors. His interests include spending time with his family, golf, cycling, sports, and his participation in his church. He lives in Ocala Florida with his wife Mary and their pets.
