Randy Kappesser currently works for GE Aviation as strategic leader for the New Product Introduction Value Stream. In this role, Randy is responsible for leading the development of strategies and plans for maturing and implementing a wide range of manufacturing technologies into production of future aircraft engine components, both composites and metal. His previous position at GE was composites technology leader for the New Product Introduction team.
Prior to joining GE in 2012, he worked at MAG Industrial Automation Systems, (now called FIVES), for over 25 years. Starting in robotics, and then the machine tool group, he progressed through various roles of increasing responsibility, including running the composites engineering team and vice president and general manager of the Composite Business Unit.
Randy has an Associate degree from Cincinnati Technical and Community College, a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Cincinnati.
