Dr. Matt Kelly is the Vice President of Material Processes and Certification at Precision Additive. His professional interests include manufacturing, computational design, FEA, and qualification/certification. Dr. Kelly has lead multiple projects leveraging various metal AM technologies including those within the Powder Bed Fusion, Directed Energy Deposition, and solid-state deposition categories. Dr. Kelly currently serves as the Chair for the Emerging Professional Committee within the SME Additive Manufacturing Technical Community. Dr. Kelly holds his Bachelors, Masters, and PhD in ME from the University of Notre Dame.
