Mr. Rivera has been active in the Aerospace and Defense industry for 14 years and currently serves as a Senior Technical Engineer for Airtech International. Airtech is an industry leader in supplying vacuum bagging materials, composite tooling materials, and large-scale additive manufacturing services and materials. Previously Mr. Rivera spent 13 plus years as an engineer in multiple roles at Bell Textron Inc. (“Bell”). Mr. Rivera has one patent and one patent pending at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Rivera is an active member of Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) since 2018, and currently serves on the SME Composites Technical Community, SME Additive Manufacturing Emerging Professionals Committee (AM EPC), and the SME Executive Conference Committee. Mr. Rivera also serves on the Office of Secretary of Defense ManTech Composites Sub-Panel. Mr. Rivera has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas (“Texas Tech”).
