Jamal Madni is Boeing’s Enterprise Technology Chief Strategist, responsible for architecting the integrated technology strategies and roadmaps at the corporate level, shaping boutique disruptive technology assessments and representing engineering, test & technology for corporate merger & acquisition due diligence activities. Prior to this, Jamal served in a variety of roles over a 5 year period with Boeing Satellite Systems, including program management, global sales & marketing, advanced research and development prototyping, and software engineering. In addition to his technical responsibilities, Jamal has created and led a number of the organization’s employee engagement initiatives including the Rosen Games, da Vinci Summit, Mentoring On-Rotation Experience (MORE), and the CLEAR Initiative. Jamal is an MSx fellow at Stanford Business School, he also graduated with an MS in Biomedical Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to that, he received a BS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Southern California, where he is currently completing his doctorate in Organizational Change & Leadership.
Jamal was a recipient of the 2017 IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Outstanding Young Professionals Award, 2017 Space & Satellite Professionals International Promise Award, 2017 Boeing Satellite Systems World Class Engineering Award in Growth, 2016 recipient of The Engineers’ Council Future Technology Leader Award, the 2016 Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) Sir Henry Royce Medal, recipient of the 2016 Society of Aerospace Engineers (SAE) Young Industry Leadership Award, recipient of the 2015 Boeing Satellite Systems World Class Engineering Award in Leadership, named the 2014 American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI) Young Engineer of the Year, recognized with the 2012 Best Student Paper Award at the World Automation Congress, and was selected as the 2011 Edward K. Rice Outstanding Master’s Student, given to the top engineering master’s student at UCLA. In addition, Jamal was invited into the Einstein Society of the United States National Academy of Engineering in 2014.
