Dr. Isaac Nault is a physical scientist at CCDC Army Research Laboratory and a lead expert in the field of Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing. Dr. Nault’s research focuses on robotic path optimization for near-net-shape fabrication and cold spray of high-temperature materials for extreme environments. Dr. Nault joined CCDC ARL as a postdoctoral fellow in 2017 after receiving a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Including his time as a student, Dr. Nault has over six years of experience in the field of cold spray, with involvement in all aspects of the technology ranging from fundamental science to field implementation.
