Jerry leads Advanced Manufacturing & Materials for Boeing Commercial Airplane’s Product Strategy and Future Airplane Development organization. This organization is responsible for developing the production system for Boeing’s future products and maturing and inserting new materials and manufacturing processes. Prior to this assignment, Jerry led Materials & Manufacturing Technology for Boeing Research & Technology with responsibility for 1100 engineers and scientists who find and mature technology for Boeing’s future products.
Jerry has worked on a variety of products for Boeing’s defense and commercial businesses including B2, JSF, F22, 777 and 787. He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School. He also holds four patents, authored a number of technical papers and is a member of ASME and SAMPE.
