Conrad Smith; Global Director of Aerospace and Defense for Stratasys Conrad Smith is the Global Director of Aerospace and Defense (A&D) at Stratasys, where he utilizes nearly two decades of industry experience within A&D to drive additive manufacturing solutions, strategic development and execution for Stratasys' A&D team. Before joining Stratasys, Conrad served as Director of Operations and Supply Chain at Shield AI, where he scaled the organization, implemented make/buy strategies and improved multiple KPIs. He developed and implemented a supply chain strategy that enabled exponential growth of production requirements, supporting Shields doubling in valuation. Conrad spent over 11 years at Northrop Grumman, culminating in the role of Director, Global Supply Chain Program Management, overseeing substantial material and labor expenditures. His experience spans material estimating, strategic sourcing, and international subcontract management. Throughout his career, Conrad has supported diverse aerospace programs, including manned and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, and rotorcraft. Conrad holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego.
