Brietta Oakley is a Materials Engineer at Lockheed Martin and in the last four years has served in the Space and Aeronautics business units. She led the completion of the DARPA/AFRL TRUST program, a 7-year effort focused on the exploration of adhesive bond process control to enable certification of bonded primary structure. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Ms. Oakley served as a Materials Engineering Project Manager, where she led research and development efforts to advance knowledge of composite adhesive bonding with an emphasis on surface chemistry and energetics. Ms. Oakley graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Materials Engineering in 2005.
