Strengthening the Navy Industry Education Connection

MCC is deploying the M3 initiative, the Michigan Maritime Manufacturing (M3) Initiative. Governor Whitmer of Michigan launched the M3 Initiative in July 2024, a more than $50 million partnership aimed at building a workforce ready to lead the future of defense manufacturing. Macomb Community College, Dynasty Fab and the Navy will discuss the development of our workforce and the investments being made to do so for national security.
