Health and Safety

Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all staff, customers, exhibitors, and attendees is our number-one priority. The City of Long Beach has issued a health and safety mandate that includes events at the Long Beach Convention Center. Prior to entry, all participants must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated at least 14 days in advance of the event) or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (tested within 72 hours of the event). Masks are required to enter the facility and must be worn at all times when not actively eating or drinking.

Accepted Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

Must include person’s name, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered:

Vaccination record card; OR
Photo of a vaccination card as a printed document; OR
Photo of a vaccination card stored on a phone or electronic device

Accepted Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test

Must include person’s name, type of test performed, and negative test result:

Printed document from the test provider or laboratory; OR
Electronic test result displayed on a phone or other device from the test provider or laboratory

Initial Admittance Process

Once individuals are verified as vaccinated or having a negative test result, they will be allowed admittance into the facility and will be directed to badge pickup. A registration badge is required in the building. If an individual is not verified, they cannot enter the building and will be instructed to get a COVID-19 test for admittance.

Re-Entry Process

A re-entry door will be available for exhibitors and returning attendees. Individuals must provide their registration badge and photo ID to enter into the facility each time they leave and return.
