SME Bright Minds Student Summits bring the world of high-tech manufacturing to life for high school students and educators, making it clear that this industry isn’t just growing—it’s thriving. Held alongside SME conferences and events, these summits offer an interactive experience with guided show-floor tours, hands-on tech demos and inspiring keynote speakers. It’s an opportunity for manufacturers to connect with the next generation of talent and showcase the exciting careers waiting for them.
This year, students will team up in groups of five, guided by an adult chaperone, as they explore the show floor and engage with 25+ pre-selected exhibitors specializing in 3D printing. Using the SME Events+ app, they’ll track their experiences, earn points, and even compete for a chance to win a 3D printer. It’s more than just an event—it’s a hands-on introduction to the future of manufacturing.
